That’s why ROYAL CANIN® Kitten kibble is specially formulated to meet its specific nutritional needs of kittens aged 4 to 12 months in the second phase of growth. This formula contains the right levels of protein, minerals and vitamins to help satisfy their growing energy levels and support their bone and muscle growth. It is also composed of nutrients such as vitamins C and E, which promote the development of the immune system in kittens. These antioxidants have been shown to stimulate a stronger and faster increase in antibodies after vaccination. ROYAL CANIN® Kitten dry food is enriched with omega-3 fatty acids (DHA) to support his brain development and promote his visual health. Through a combination of beneficial prebiotics (MOS) and highly digestible proteins, ROYAL CANIN® Kitten promotes the balance of the gut microbiota for optimal digestive health. The shape and size of the ROYAL CANIN® Kitten kibble has been specially adapted for your kitten’s small jaw. In addition, they promote mechanical brushing of your teeth for better oral hygiene and health. From 12 months of age, your kitten will need a diet specially adapted to meet its nutritional needs as an adult cat. At this point, you can start the transition to the ROYAL CANIN® range of adult cat foods, available as kibble or wet food in different textures in sauce, jelly or foam. All dry foods in our grow line contain naturally derived antioxidants, and are formulated without artificial colors or flavors
