ROYAL CANIN® Medium Starter Mother & Babydog kibble is specially formulated to meet the nutritional needs of female dogs and their puppies. This formula is suitable for adult medium-breed dogs weighing between 11 and 25 kg and puppies weaning up to 2 months of age. This formula is therefore specially adapted to meet the high energy needs of your medium-breed dog in a single food at the end of gestation and during lactation. It is also designed to promote the proper development of nursing and weaning puppies. ROYAL CANIN® Medium Starter Mother & Babydog dry food contains nutrients such as vitamin C and E to help puppies support the proper development of their still immature immune system. Thanks to a combination of beneficial prebiotic fibers (such as MOS) and highly digestible proteins, ROYAL CANIN® Medium Starter Mother & Babydog supports the development of your puppy’s gut microbiota and promotes balance, to ensure good digestive health. In addition, this formula is enriched with omega-3 fatty acids (including DHA), which are scientifically proven to contribute to healthy brain development and visual health in puppies. ROYAL CANIN® Medium Starter Mother & Babydog kibble is easy to rehydrate with warm water, which allows it to soften and better release its aromas, in order to stimulate the appetite of puppies at weaning and promote hydration. At 2 months of age, your puppies will need a specially adapted diet to meet the nutritional needs of their next phase of growth. At this point, you can start the transition to ROYAL CANIN® Medium Puppy food, which is available as kibble or as wet food in sauce.
